A Bit About Therapy
Personalized Attention for All Your Needs
I implement effective psychotherapy methods to instil self-understanding among patients and encourage them to adopt new attitudes and feelings towards life situations. It is essential to keep in mind that therapy is not a magic pill or a quick fix: therapy is a healing process that necessitates participation and investment from the patient and caretaker alike. But in the end, making small changes to self-defeating behavior and coping with feelings of sadness, fear, and pain can bring life-altering results.
Services I Offer
With You Every Step of the Way
I specialize in trauma and working with attention deficit hyperactivity disorders.
Intensive Trauma Therapy
Many people suffer in silence, believing that severe depression, suicidal urges, and auditory hallucinations mean that they are “crazy.” But the truth is, these symptoms--as well as panic attacks, hypervigilance, social phobia, self-mutilation, eating problems, recurring nightmares, flashbacks, and substance abuse--are often the lingering results of trauma. The effects of trauma are often misunderstood and misdiagnosed. Living with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) can be discouraging
Many therapies are painfully slow which is why I offer Intensive Trauma Recovery (ITR). ITR uses art therapy and lifelines to access right brain to release painful emotions and puts them in long term memory where they no longer are traumatic. ITR is very effective in relieving PTSD due to all kinds of traumatic events.

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder
Assessment & Psychotherapy
ADHD is a neurological disorder that creates issues in executive functioning that affect all life domains throughout life. A definitive diagnosis requires several assessments that may include a clinical interview, meeting DSM-5 criteria, and an evidence-based validated assessment tool, such as the Brown ADD Scale.
Psychotherapy provides coping skills for executive function impairments to increase motivation, focus and concentration, memory and decrease impulsiveness and emotionality. I offer a children's therapy that allows each child to build their own toolbox to remind them of the skills they learn.
